Refund Policy

1. Free Trial

SQLLab includes a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. The trial begins when you first activate the Extension, and you can evaluate every feature before deciding whether to purchase.

We encourage you to make full use of the trial period to ensure SQLLab meets your needs before subscribing.

2. Subscription Plans

After the free trial, SQLLab is available on the following plans:

• Monthly: $4.99 per month, billed monthly
• Annual: $39 per year, billed annually (equivalent to $3.25/month)

Subscriptions are managed through Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time through the link provided in your purchase receipt email.

3. Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if:

• You request a refund within 14 days of your first subscription charge (after the free trial ends), and
• You have not used the licensed features extensively for commercial production purposes during that period.

For annual subscriptions, the 14-day window applies to the initial purchase. Refund requests for renewal charges are handled on a case-by-case basis.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:

• Requests made more than 14 days after the charge date
• Subscription renewal charges where you did not cancel before the renewal date
• Partial-period refunds for mid-cycle cancellations (you retain access until the end of the paid period)
• Purchases made by mistake where the product has been used extensively

5. How to Cancel

To cancel your subscription and prevent future charges:

• Use the cancellation link in your original purchase receipt email from Lemon Squeezy, or
• Log in to the Lemon Squeezy customer portal using your purchase email address.

Cancellation stops future billing. You will retain access to the Extension until the end of your current paid period.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us via the Q&A tab on the VS Code Marketplace page with your order number (from your Lemon Squeezy receipt). We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement depending on your bank or card issuer.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
